Its role would be:

Initiate the development of innovative programs and concepts
Provide quality training to writers. directors and producers for script. program and series development
Undertake production orientated research and evaluation
Engage in constructive dialogues on issues concerning children's television program content.
Organize a children's television summit/conference in Bangladesh in every two years.
Introduce an award to encourage quality children's productions.
